Police Investigating Double Homicide in Lower Oxford Township

LOWER OXFORD TWP, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced that along with Kennett Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police Avondale Barracks, they are investigating a double murder in Lower Oxford Township, Chester County that occurred Wednesday.

Authorities state that on November 03, 2121, at 1:15 AM, Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police, Avondale Barracks, responded to the 300-block of Ashmun Avenue for a report of two subjects in cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, it was determined that two adults were deceased under suspicious circumstances. EMS attempted life-saving measures on the victims; however, both succumbed to their injuries on the scene. The case is being investigated as a homicide. Officials state that the preliminary information suggests that there is no threat to the public currently.

The Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop J Major Case Team was activated to investigate this incident with Kennett Township Police Department and the Chester County District Attorney.
