Philadelphia Man Arrested in Chester County on Drug Charges

KENNETT TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police announced the arrest of 25-year-old Mauriyyah Pryor of Philadelphia on drug charges.

Authorities state that on May 15, 2022, at 10:47 PM, Troopers from the Avondale Station performed a traffic stop on a 2011 Hyundai Sonata for driving without headlights or taillights during hours of darkness. During their interaction with the driver, Troopers say they observed indicators of criminal activity. A consent search was conducted, which lead to the discovery of drugs and drug paraphernalia. Pryor was arrested without incident.
