WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced the arrest yesterday of Tyleke Dasjon Crawford, 27, of Philadelphia, for sexually assaulting six children who were between the ages of 6-17 years old, from 2014-2019. He is being charged with multiple counts of rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, sexual assault, corruption of minors, and related offenses. He is held at Chester County Prison on $1 million bail set by Magisterial District Judge Nancy Gill.

The defendant had been previously arrested in Chester County last year for two different cases involving allegations of sexual abuse of children and criminal use of a communication facility for possessing dozens of images of child pornography. He has been held at Chester County Prison on $500k bail set by Magisterial District Judge Nancy Gill since his first arrest on August 29, 2022. He was charged on September 8, 2022, for a second case after police found additional images of child pornography on the defendant’s cellular phone.

“Tyleke Crawford is a dangerous child predator. He spent years perpetrating devastating abuse against our most vulnerable and innocent children,” said Chester County District Attorney Deb Ryan. “Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our detectives, our children are safer now and we will get them justice. We believe there may be other victims who have not come forward and encourage anyone with information to immediately contact Chester County Detectives.”

The allegations in the complaint are:

Police received information that a child (victim #1) was raped by the defendant when the victim was 12 years old and lived down the road from him in Honey Brook, PA, in the summer of 2014. Investigators learned that the defendant began touching the child inappropriately and the behavior escalated to forceable rape and oral sex. The defendant also offered the victim marijuana and the illegal drug known as “ecstasy.”

Victim #2 reported to police that the defendant sexually assaulted her and engaged in unlawful contact when she was 15-17 years-old beginning in the spring of 2015 in Modena Borough. Victim #2 stated that he forcibly raped her when she was in the eighth grade. She said that he texted her inappropriate sexual messages to attempt to convince her to engage in sexual acts with him. He sexually assaulted her a second time during the summer of 2015. Victim #2 also stated that he sent her numerous sexually explicit messages, including naked images of himself. She said that he gave her alcohol, pills, and marijuana on multiple occasions.

Victim #3 told police that when she was 10 years old the defendant touched her inappropriately and attempted to put his hands inside her pants in Modena Borough in November 2015. The defendant told her to keep it a secret and that he “liked” her for a while. When victim #3 fled from him to avoid the assaults he told her he would buy her things if she came back.

Victim #4 stated that when she was 6 years old in 2017 in Modena Borough the defendant rubbed his genitals against her genital area. Police also discovered images of Victim #4 in the defendant’s Google Cloud account.

Victim #5 reported that when she was 12 years old in March 2017, the defendant fondled her buttocks. This also occurred in Modena Borough. Victim #5 stated that the defendant attempted to contact her via text message which she felt was “odd” due to their age difference.
