Pedestrian Struck, Coatesville Police Investigating Hit and Run

COATESVILLE PA — The Coatesville Police say they responded to South 1st Avenue on June 29, 2022, at approximately 8:37 PM, for a report of a man lying in the street and yelling.

The responding officer determined the male victim had been struck by a vehicle that drove up onto the sidewalk and then fled the area. The victim was taken to Paoli Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing north on South 1st Avenue and then eastbound on MLK BLVD. The vehicle is described as a gold or tan sedan with tinted windows. Additionally, the vehicle likely has damage to its passenger side.
