Peace Shattered in East Goshen: Local Man Faces Multiple Charges Including Aggravated Assault

WEST CHESTER, PA — A peaceful afternoon was disrupted in East Goshen Township on October 10, 2023, when local law enforcement responded to a disturbance at the 1400 Block of Center St. The Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department arrived at the scene at 2:09 PM, embarking on an investigation that would soon lead to an arrest.

According to the criminal complaint, the officers spoke with an 18-year-old female resident at the scene, who reported being assaulted. Physical evidence of injuries sustained by the victim corroborated her account.

The investigation led to the arrest of 20-year-old Liam Dubuc. He now faces a series of serious charges, including one count each of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, making repairs/selling/etc. offensive weapons, harassment, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent.

Following his arrest, Dubuc was taken to Chester County Prison. His bail has been set at a hefty $50,000.00 cash sum. A preliminary hearing for Dubuc has been scheduled for October 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
