Parkesburg Police Arrest Suspected Motor Vehicle Thief

PARKESBURG, PA — Kyle Laird, age 24, has been arrested and charged with the theft of a motor vehicle and related traffic offenses, announced the Parkesburg Borough Police Department.

Authorities state that on June 17, 2022, just before 7:30 AM, Laird and an accomplice crashed a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Maple and East Bridge Streets and then fled the area on foot. Parkesburg Police credit several eye-witnesses, and video evidence collected, with aiding in the capture of Laird a short time later in West Sadsbury Township.

Laird was arraigned before Chester County Magisterial District Judge Nancy Gill. He was remanded to the Chester County Prison after not being able to post a $25,000 cash bail.
