Parkesburg Police Arrest Man on Narcotics Violations

PARKESBURG, PA — Parkesburg Borough Police Department announced that they had arrested 27-year-old Merialliz Rivera and charged her with Narcotics Violations and related offenses.

According to the police report, on February 25, 2023, an officer made contact with Rivera along N. Church Street and discovered evidence of drugs. After seizing the vehicle, police obtained a search warrant and executed it the next day. The warrant uncovered multiple types of drugs and related paraphernalia.

The investigation is ongoing as police work to determine if there are more individuals involved in this drug activity. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 6th at the Parkesburg District Court where Rivera will appear before the Honorable Nancy A. Gill.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
