Parkesburg Man Arrested for Megan’s Law Violation

PARKESBURG, PA — The Parkesburg Police Department announced they have charged Mark A. Taylor, 52 years of age, with not complying with Megan’s Law registration requirements.

Authorities state that the department received information from the Pennsylvania State Police regarding the violation and discovered the defendant was not in compliance.

Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law, 42 Pa.C.S § 9799.32(1) and § 9799.67(1), requires the State Police to create and maintain a registry of persons who reside, or is transient, work/carry on a vocation, or attend school in the Commonwealth and who have either been convicted of, entered a plea of guilty to, or have been adjudicated delinquent of Certain Sexual Offenses in Pennsylvania or another jurisdiction.

Taylor has been charged with one (1) count Felony Megan’s Law Violation: Failure to Comply With Registration.
