PA State Police Attempt to ID Suspect in Chester County Gas Station Theft

PENN TWP, PA — Pennsylvania State Police from the Avondale Station say they are investigating a theft that occurred on June 3, 2022, at approximately 9:58 PM, at the Gulf gas station located at, 890 W Baltimore Pike, Penn Township, Chester County.

Authorities state that the pictured male reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a safe and register. The suspect was hired a week prior to the incident and all documentation that can assist with identifying the pictured male was also taken by the suspect. The victim related the suspect was only paid once and it was in cash. The name the suspect provided the Victim was Ashish Kumar. The suspect was observed on surveillance leaving the gas station on foot towards an unknown location.
