Motorcyclists Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run, Police Investigating

AVONDALE, PA — The Southern Chester County Regional Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run accident involving two motorcycles striking the driver’s side of a van.

The motorcycle operators have been transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The accident occurred in the 1600 block of Baltimore Pike, Sunday, May 16th at approximately 4:35 pm.

The striking vehicle is described as a white or silver Ford Econoline work van, or similar model. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Baltimore Pike making a left turn onto Penn Green Road traveling south.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or knows the whereabouts of the van and/or its operator and occupants, is asked to contact Southern Chester County Regional Police at 610-268-3171.
