Maryland Man Arrested For Theft in Oxford, PA

OXFORD, PA — Maryland resident Jordan Stewart, age 32, was arrested Wednesday, January 18, 2023, for theft at the Tractor Supply in Oxford, PA.

Authorities stated that store employees reported that Stewart had allegedly stolen a pressure washer and placed it in his vehicle. When confronted by store employees, Stewart stated that he did not have to show a receipt and left the parking lot. An Oxford Police officer was able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle and make contact with Stewart. The pressure washer could be seen in plain view in the passenger seat of the sedan.

Stewart was charged with:

  • Retail Theft
  • Receiving Stolen Property

He was detained and transported to the Oxford Police station for processing before being released pending a summons.
