Man Charged With Theft From West Chester Railroad

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest f 28-year-old Ricardo Ferrer-Cruz from West Chester, PA for Theft on February 15, 2022.

Authorities state that Ferrer-Cruz removed approximately 35 Steel Railroad-Track Tie Plates from West Chester Railroad and attempted to sell them as scrap.

Ferrer-Cruz is charged with the following offenses:

  • Theft By Unlawful Taking
  • Receiving Stolen Property

He was processed and released on Summons.  A Preliminary Hearing is pending at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-1-04.
