Kennett Square Police Make an Arrest in Connection With a Juvenile Assault

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Kennett Square Police Department has announced an arrest in connection with a juvenile assault. On Thursday, November 17, at approximately 10:07 AM, Officers responded to a call about a juvenile male who had allegedly hit a female juvenile the previous day.

The Officer who responded to the call was able to review the video surveillance that showed the male and female juveniles standing next to each other. The female juvenile knocked off the hat of the male juvenile, prompting him to grab her by the wrist and slap her with his right hand. Thanks to video surveillance of the incident, police were able to identify and charge the male assailant. The arrest took place on Friday, December 2.

The following charges were filed with Chester County Juvenile Probation:

  • Simple Assault
  • Harassment
  • Disorderly Conduct
