Eight Catalytic Converters Stolen in East Coventry Township: Police Investigating

SPRING CITY, PA — The East Coventry Township Police Department is investigating the theft of eight catalytic converters that occurred on July 17, 2022, at 7:24 PM.

The catalytic converters were stolen from Canteen Vending Company on Schuylkill Road in Spring City, Chester County. Three suspects entered the parking lot in a blue sedan and one suspect entered the parking lot in a white minivan.

The men were reportedly confronted by an employee who stopped by the business to pick up an item from one of the trucks and they informed him they were working on the trucks. The employee left the parking lot and informed his employer who notified the police.

The suspects are described as follows: Suspect 1 was a White male, suspect 2 was a Black male wearing a black ski mask, suspect 3 was a White male with long blond hair, and suspect 4 was a White male with a gray beard and multiple tattoos on his arms.
