Downingtown Woman Charged with Drug Possession and Delivery Following Traffic Stop

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of a 32-year-old woman on drug charges.

Daquesha Grove of Downingtown, Pennsylvania has been charged with four counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, four counts of  Possession with Intent to Deliver, and multiple additional crimes.

The criminal complaint alleges that on May 11, 2023, at approximately 2:55 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Bolmar Street and Union Street.  Through investigation, 38-year-old Daquesha Groveof Downingtown was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of multiple controlled substances.  Further investigation led to the discovery of Grove possessing Cocaine, Marijuana, Alprazolam and Oxycodone pills, and other drug paraphernalia/evidence consistent with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Grove was charged on June 15, 2023.

A preliminary hearing is pending at District Court 15-1-04.
