Delaware Man Arrested in Pennsylvania on Theft Charges

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police announced the arrest of 49-year-old Damone Jones of Townsend, Delaware in connection with a theft that occurred at the Walmart Supercenter located at 516 School House Rd in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

Authorities state that on April 12, 2022, Troopers responded to the Kennett Square Walmart for a reported theft.  Through surveillance footage, Troopers say that the suspect, later identified as Damone Jones, was observed proceeding past all points of sale without paying for merchandise. He then quickly loaded the goods into a white sedan operated by an unknown white non-Hispanic female and was seen traveling northbound on U.S. Route 1. Items stolen included clothing, household items, and baby products totaling $781.45.
