Delaware County Man Arrested in Connection to Multiple Thefts from Area Giants

WEST CHESTER, PA — In a collaborative effort between the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department and the Brookhaven Police Department, 29-year-old Tyree Wilson from Upland, PA has been arrested in connection to multiple thefts from area Giant supermarkets.

Authorities stated that between April 23 and May 1, Wilson is believed to have stolen items from the Thornbury Township Giant and the Westtown Township Giant. Westtown-East Goshen Police obtained a warrant for his arrest on June 9, 2022. On September 24, 2022, he was apprehended by Brookhaven Police (Delaware County).

Wilson has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Felony Retail Theft (3 counts)
  • Retail Theft
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking (4 counts)
  • Theft By Unlawful Taking
  • Receiving Stolen Property (4 counts)
  • Receiving Stolen Property
  • Theft by Deception (4 counts)
  • Theft by Deception
  • Possessing Instrument of a Crime (3 counts)

He is currently being held at Chester County Prison, and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 5 in front of Judge Martin G. Goch at Chester County Magisterial District Court 15-2-03.
