COATESVILLE, PA — The City of Coatesville Police Department announced they are investigating the death of a 59-year-old female.
Authorities state that on February 15, 2022, at 9:47 AM, Police were dispatched to 215 E Chestnut St to investigate a suspicious death. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as Donna Louise Taney, deceased on her bedroom floor. A search warrant was executed on the residence. Officials state that this investigation is ongoing and Detectives are waiting on the results of the autopsy.
The City of Coatesville Detectives Unit is working with Chester County Detectives on this investigation. The Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community.
