WEST CHESTER, PA — Judge Jeffrey Sommer sentenced Marshone Steele, 32, of Coatesville, to 85 to 170 years in state prison for sexually abusing two children under age ten at his mother’s house between 2014 and 2019, announced the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. A jury found him guilty in September 2021.

DA Deb Ryan said, “Marshone Steele is a violent sexual predator who now will spend the rest of his life in prison for the pain and suffering he caused two little girls. My office will continue vigorously prosecuting men and women who hurt children. I commend the victims for their bravery in speaking up about what happened to them and hope this sentence helps them move forward with their lives.”

Coatesville City Police and Chester County Detectives learned in October 2019 that a 9-year-old child had been sexually abused over three years between the ages of 6 and 9 by the defendant inside his mother’s home in Coatesville. The defendant initially used candy to lure the child into the bedroom and then threatened that he would go to jail if she told anyone.
