WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County District Attorney’s Office announced that Anthony C. Brown Jr., age 26 of Coatesville, has been sentenced to 9-22 years in state prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Assault, Person not to Possess a Firearm, and related charges.

Brown was convicted for shooting a 39-year old victim in the leg in Coatesville in June 2018 over $200 worth of cocaine. The victim, who is now a paraplegic because of his injuries, having gave the defendant an EBT card for cocaine, but the card had no funds. The defendant shot the victim in retaliation.

The Coatesville Police Department and Chester County Detectives handled the investigation. Assistant District Attorney Daniel Hollander was the prosecutor.
