Coatesville Man Arrested On Warrant, Charged With Resisting Arrest

COATESVILLE, PA — The Coatesville Police have arrested a wanted man after a district disturbance call.

Talmadge A. Wright of Coatesville was arrested on July 5, 2022, after the Coatesville Police Department responced to a domestic disturbance call on the 600 block of Victoria Drive.

Authorities state that at roughly 10:37 PM, police came into contact with Talmadge Wright, who was hiding in a locked bathroom. He reportedly resisted arrest as he screamed and yelled while kicking and flailing around. Additionally, he refused to walk, forcing police to carry him down a flight of stairs. During the course of their investigation, police determined  Wright was hiding due to an active warrant for his arrest.

Wright was transported to the Coatesville Police Department where he was held for constable pickup. He is facing charges in addition to the warrant.
