KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Police in Kennett Square Borough have issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection with a burglary at Star Gas and Diesel located in the 700 Block of W. Cypress Street, Kennett Square.
Authorities state that on October 10, 2021, at approximately 4:33 AM, Officers were dispatched for a report of a suspicious condition at the Star Gas and Diesel gas station. Once on scene, Officers observed the glass pane in the front door to be smashed in and made contact with the business owner who arrived shortly after. The business owner was able to gain access to the surveillance system where a white, male, later identified as Ryan Nay, was seen throwing a large rock through the glass pane of the front door of the building and was also seen behind the counter stealing items. Damaged and stolen items totaled approximately $2,300.
Nay was charged with the following offenses:
- Criminal Trespass
- Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition
- Receiving Stolen Property
- Possessing Instruments of Crime
- Criminal Mischief
An Arrest Warrant was filed for Ryan Nay with Magisterial District Court 15-3-04 in Kennett Square on October 19, 2021.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the location of Ryan Nay to submit a tip online or call 610-444-0501.
