19-Year-Old From Warminster Arrested on Drug Charges After Overdose in West Chester Apartment

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester Police Department announced the arrest of a 19-year-old Warminster, Bucks County, Pennsylvania resident on drug charges.

The criminal complaint alleges that on Sunday, April 18th, 2021 at approximately 7:00 am, Officers responded to an apartment in the 700 block of South Walnut Street for the report of an unresponsive person. The individual, identified as 19-year-old Robert Kelly Jr. from Warminster, PA was transported to Chester County Hospital for an overdose of narcotics.

After a prolonged investigation, authorities issued an arrest warrant for Kelly in August 2022 for several drug violations, including Possession With Intent to Distribute. Kelly was apprehended on April 22, 2023, with a pending preliminary hearing.
