DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Communities that Care of Greater Downingtown this week announced it is the proud recipient of a CCRES community capacity building grant. CCRES awarded CTC of Greater Downingtown $5,000.00 to support capacity building with community prevention partners to promote mental health and prevent substance use.
The funds will reportedly support and promote partnerships with public and non-public schools, community organizations, law enforcement, government, youth-serving groups, and the faith-based community. These funds strengthen the CTC prevention model by ensuring the delivery programs, events, and resources for local parents, families, and youth.
The mission of CCRES is to ensure quality educational and human service programs for children, families, and schools.
