Your Commute Update: How Little Road Construction Affects You Next Week!

traffic alert expect delays

LOWER FREDERICK TWP, PA — Motorists in Lower Frederick Township should prepare for temporary road closures as Prestige Property Partners LLC continues utility construction on eastbound Little Road. This work will take place from Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

During this period, eastbound Little Road will be closed and detoured between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Simmons Road. To facilitate traffic flow, drivers will be directed to use Route 29 (Gravel Pike), Route 73 (Big Road), and Perkiomenville Road as alternate routes. Local access will remain available up to the designated work zone, minimizing inconvenience for residents and businesses in the immediate vicinity.

Travelers are advised to plan for extra travel time as traffic backups and delays are anticipated in the area during the construction hours. The schedule is contingent upon favorable weather conditions and may be subject to changes.

This project is being executed under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit. As the work progresses, drivers are encouraged to remain informed about real-time road conditions and potential delays by visiting the MyChesCo Traffic Center. This service is free and provides 24/7 updates to help motorists navigate the area efficiently and safely.
