DENVER, PA — Authorities in Lancaster County this week announced that 43-year-old Mary Baker of Denver has been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of children and four counts of corruption of minors.

According to police reports, officers with the East Cocalico Township Police Department were called to the 100 block of Main Street in Denver on January 13th after receiving a report that Baker was smoking marijuana inside a parked vehicle while four juveniles were also sitting inside. Officers determined that Baker was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and she was subsequently issued a summons to appear in district court.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
