Woman Arrested on Burglary and Weapons Charges

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested a woman on burglary and weapons charges.

Authorities state that on November 14 at approximately 9:28 a.m. police responded to the 800 block of North Van Buren Street regarding a burglary with a weapon that had just occurred.  Through investigative measures, police were able to identify 28-year-old Cami Coston as the suspect.  Shortly after, police took Coston into custody without incident in the 1900 block of Seneca Road.  Police recovered a loaded 5.7 caliber handgun and a loaded .357 revolver.

Coston was charged with the following offenses:

  • Burglary 1st Degree
  • Aggravated Menacing
  • Criminal Mischief Under $1,000

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $27,000 cash-only bail.
