Wilmington Police Recruitment Open House: Meet Recruiters and Learn About Career Opportunities

WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department announced it is hosting a Recruitment Open House to provide an opportunity for prospective applicants to meet with recruiters and learn about career opportunities with the agency.

The Recruitment Open House will take place at the Wilmington Police Department’s Headquarters (300 North Walnut Street) on Saturday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Members of the WPD Recruitment Team will be on hand with applications, information and resources for prospective applicants.

“We look forward to opening our doors and welcoming prospective future Wilmington Police officers to visit our facility and interact with our Recruitment Team,” said Chief Wilfredo Campos. “Our team will be on hand to answer questions and share information about the wide range of career opportunities available to members of our police department.”

The deadline for applications to the 102nd Wilmington Police Academy is Friday, March 31.

The initial screening process will include a written exam, a physical ability test, and interview panels which will include a Chief’s interview.
