Wilmington Police Investigating North Monroe Street Shooting

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.

Authorities say that they received a call at approximately 2:34 am about a gunshot victim in the 700 block of North Monroe Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they located a 17-year-old male who had been shot. The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition. This incident is still under investigation.
