Wilmington Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in West 2nd Street Neighborhood

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at approximately 8:23 p.m. on Monday in the 1100 block of West 2nd Street, Wilmington.

Police located a 30-year-old female gunshot victim and a 19-year-old female gunshot victim, who were located at the scene and had succumbed to their injuries. Police also located a 12-year-old female gunshot victim, who arrived at the hospital in stable condition.

The suspect in this incident, a 32-year-old male, was found dead at the scene from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. This incident is believed to have been domestic in nature.

Authorities state this incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
