Wilmington Police Investigating East 23rd Street Shooting

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced they are investigating a shooting that occurred on the 300 block of East 23rd Street late Thursday night.

Authorities say that, shortly after 9:38 PM, a 44-year-old male was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the leg.

The incident is still under investigation, and police are asking for any information about the shooting to be reported to Detective Brendan Shea at (302) 576-3649.
