Wilmington Police Finds Cash, Oxycodone, Marijuana During Arrest

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an investigation.

On January 24 at approximately 3:50 p.m., following a drug investigation stemming from the 1900 block of Superfine Lane, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division made contact with 36-year-old Marcus Dryden.  Police recovered 51 Oxycodone pills, 17 grams of marijuana, and $332 in currency.  Dryden was taken into custody without incident.

Dryden was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
  • Breach of Release
  • Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $16,110 cash-only bail.
