Wilmington Police, FBI Arrest Two in Drug Sweep

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police announced the arrest of 32-year-old Khiry Brown and 35-year-old Edrick Jones on drug charges following an investigation.

Authorities state that on December 13 at approximately 7:38 a.m., members of Wilmington’s Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division along with members of the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant in the 800 block of North Spruce Street.  Police took Khiry Brown and Edrick Jones into custody without incident.  Police recovered 37.9 grams of cocaine, 2.9 grams of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Brown was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
  • Possession of  Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $61,100 unsecured bail.

Jones was charged with Possession of Marijuana. He was issued a summons and released.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
