Wilmington Police Arrest Two Men on Gun and Drug Charges

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested two men on gun and drug charges.

Authorities state that on May 12 at approximately 4:04 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force were in the 400 block of East 3rd Street when they made contact with 21-year-old Leandre Stovall and 20-year-old Ronel Juandoo.  Following a brief investigation, police recovered a loaded .357 caliber handgun and 43 grams of marijuana.  Both subjects were taken into custody without incident.

Stovall was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Firearm while also in Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $3,100 unsecured bail.

Juandoo was issued a summons for Possession of Marijuana and released.
