WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department announced it will continue to organize a monthly Coffee with a Cop event, with its next event coming up in March.

Police officers will be visiting Spark*d (inside DE.CO) at 111 West 10th Street on Wednesday, March 8 from 9 to 11 a.m. Officials are encouraging customers coming in for their coffee and bakery treats to stop by the department’s table, interact with some of Wilmington’s police officers, and pick up some public safety-related information and giveaways.

The continuation of this monthly event follows the department’s observance of National Coffee with a Cop Day this past October. Throughout 2023, Wilmington Police Department states that it will organize a monthly event at coffee shops across the city to help provide additional opportunities for the public to interact with officers, ask questions and learn about resources available to the community.
