Wilmington Man Charged with Burglary

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have arrested a man during a burglary in progress.

Authorities stated that on September 18 at approximately 8:27 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of West 29th Street for a report of a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, police made contact with the suspect, 59-year-old Kim Thomas.  Thomas was taken into custody without incident.

Thomas was charged with the following offenses:

  • Burglary 2nd Degree
  • Theft Under $1,500

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $3,000 secured bail.
