WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 30-year-old Tashay Wilmore and 32-year-old Tashira Wilmore following a drug investigation.
Authorities stated that on January 26 at approximately 6:15 p.m., members of the Safe Streets Task Force executed a search warrant in the 300 block of West 7th Street in reference to a drug investigation. Officers took Tashay Wilmore and Tashira Wilmore into custody without incident. Police recovered 11.9 grams of crack cocaine, 83 ecstasy pills, 33.5 grams of marijuana, .007 grams of fentanyl, ammunition and $1,351 in currency.
Tashay Wilmore has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Possession of Marijuana
She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $50,251 secured bail.
Tashira Wilmore has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Two Counts)
She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released pending further proceedings. She was subsequently committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on an unrelated matter.
