Who Killed the Man on Torresdale Avenue? Police Offering $20,000 Reward

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects wanted for homicide.

Authorities stated that on March 17, 2023, two men became involved in a physical altercation inside a business on the 5100 block of Torresdale Avenue. Following, one of the men involved in the fight made a call on his cellular phone. At approximately 10:20 pm a black male pulled up in a black Ford Crown Victoria and entered the business. The male who made the phone call spoke briefly to the male from Ford and both walked outside to where the other male involved in the fight was standing. The male who made the phone call pointed at him and the male from Ford shot him several times before returning to their car and leaving south on Torresdale Avenue. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

Suspect Description:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, 30s-40s, medium build, black “Air Jordan” hooded sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, gray sneakers, operating a black Ford Crown Victoria.
  • Suspect #2: Black male, 30s-40s, thin build, mustache, long-sleeved gray “Eagles” shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and was last seen in the area of 5100 Torresdale Avenue.

The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a $20,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime. Those with information should contact 911 or 215-686-TIPS (8477).
