WHITEMARSH TWP, PA — Whitemarsh Township is planning to close Joshua Road between Flourtown Road and Stenton Avenue in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, beginning Monday, August 2, for roadway widening and drainage improvements, states the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). The closure will be in place 24/7 through Monday, September 6.
During the closure, Joshua Road motorists will be directed to use Flourtown Road and Stenton Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
