DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania has announced the continuation of its water main construction project on Landover Road in Haverford and Radnor Townships. The work, which is aimed at upgrading the region’s water infrastructure, will necessitate a long-term road closure starting next week.

From Monday, December 2, through Friday, January 31, 2025, Landover Road will be closed to through traffic between Gaynor Road and Haverford Road each weekday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During this time, motorists will be required to follow a designated detour. Drivers will be redirected via Haverford Road, College Avenue, and Coopertown Road to circumvent the construction zone.

Local access will remain available for residents and businesses up to the edges of the construction area. Travelers are advised, however, to expect delays and allocate extra time when navigating roads near Landover Road due to the anticipated traffic congestion.

All scheduled activities are contingent upon favorable weather conditions. Aqua Pennsylvania encourages drivers to exercise caution when traveling near the work zone and to remain alert to signage and crew activity.
