WARWICK TOWNSHIP, PA — the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that pipe replacement work is slated for Mearns Road in Warwick Township, Bucks County.
This critical work will take place on Thursday, January 4, and Friday, January 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. During this period, Mearns Road will be closed and detoured between Almshouse Road and Bristol Road.
Local access will be maintained throughout the closure, ensuring residents and businesses can continue their daily routines with minimal disruption. However, motorists are advised to prepare for some changes in their usual routes. They are directed to use Almshouse Road, Route 332 (Jacksonville Road), and Bristol Road as alternatives during the pipe replacement work.
While the work is essential, PennDOT acknowledges that it may lead to backups and delays in the area. As such, drivers are advised to factor in extra time when planning their travels near the work zone.
This scheduled activity is, of course, dependent on weather conditions. Therefore, any significant changes in weather could potentially lead to adjustments in the schedule.
