Wanted Woman Arrested During Robbery in Wilmington


WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 58-year-old Theresa Harris during a robbery in progress.

Authorities state that on December 7 at approximately 1:20 a.m., police responded to the 800 block of North Market Street for a robbery in progress.  Upon arrival, police took Theresa Harris into custody without incident.  Police recovered a knife.  Harris was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Harris was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony
  • Aggravated Menacing

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $5,000 cash-only bail.
