WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of wanted 20-year-old Zi-On Miller on gun and drug charges.
The criminal complaint alleges that on April 14, at approximately 8:05 p.m., members of Wilmington’s Uniformed Services Division were on patrol in the 200 block of Stroud Street, when they observed a wanted subject. Officers made contact with 20-year-old Zi-On Miller, who was taken into custody without incident. Following a brief investigation, officers recovered a loaded .380 caliber handgun, 3.2 grams of marijuana, and $673.
Miller was charged with the following offenses in addition to his outstanding warrants:
- Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited – Two Counts
- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Possession of Marijuana
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
