Wanted: Help Catch the Suspect Who Tried to Rob a Woman in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who robbed a woman earlier this month.

Authorities stated that on March 27, at approximately 11:05 am, an unknown white male approached the victim on the 1000 block of Vine Street from behind and tried to pull off her necklace and headphones. After an unsuccessful attempt of taking her necklace and headphones, the suspect fled north on 10th Street. The victim suffered minor scratches to her neck.

The suspect is described as a white male in his teens, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants with white stripes down the side, and black sneakers.
