U.S. Marshals Arrest Man for September Shooting in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police announced the arrest of a man wanted in connection with a September shots fired incident.

Authorities state that on October 19 at approximately 5:00 p.m. members of the United States Marshal’s Task Force took 30-year-old Devin Brown into custody without incident in the 1200 block of North Walnut Street, Wilmington. Brown was wanted in connection with a shots fired incident, with no injuries, that occurred in 800 block of North West Street on September 10.

Brown was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited
  • Reckless Endangering 1st Degree
  • Criminal Mischief Under $1,500
  • Discharging a Firearm on a City Street

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $26,101 cash-only bail.
