Two Teen Females Arrested Following Christmas Day Robbery

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested two juveniles following a robbery in progress.

Authorities state that on December 25 at approximately 9:43 p.m. an officer on proactive patrol was in the 1300 block of Lancaster Avenue when he observed a robbery in progress.  Two juvenile female suspects, later identified as a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old, fled on foot.  The suspects were quickly taken into custody without incident by assisting units.

The 16-year-old was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy 2nd Degree

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $6,000 unsecured bail.

The 14-year-old was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery 1st Degree
  • Conspiracy 2nd Degree

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $6,000 unsecured bail.
