Two Men Arrested in Wilmington Drug Bust, THC Products Recovered

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested two men following a drug investigation.

Authorities state that on July 12 at approximately 2:44 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division executed a search warrant in the 400 block of North Scott Street in reference to a drug investigation. Officers took 20-year-old Ahad Ali and 22-year-old Amr Abdullah of Michigan into custody without incident, and recovered 430 grams of marijuana, 159.7 grams of THC products and drug paraphernalia.

Ali has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver – Four Counts
  • Conspiracy (Second Degree)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $10,700 secured bail.

Abdullah has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
  • Conspiracy (Second Degree)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $6,000 secured bail.
