Two Men and a Woman Arrested on Drug Charges in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested two men and a woman on drug charges following an investigation.

Authorities state that on October 12 at approximately 12:28 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division executed search warrants in the 2900 block of Conrad Street and the 1000 block of South Rodney Street following a drug investigation.  Police took 55-year-old Rodney Potts, 56-year-old Charles Henry, and 56-year-old Gina Wilson into custody without incident.  Police recovered 2.835 grams of heroin, 19 packs of Suboxone, .2 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and ammunition.

Potts was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $20,500 secured bail.

Henry was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
  • Conspiracy 2nd Degree
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $27,500 secured bail.

Wilson was charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity
  • Conspiracy 2nd Degree
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $27,500 secured bail.
