Travel Restrictions: Montgomery Township to Begin Repairs on Route 309

Traffic Alert

PennDOT announced that Montgomery Township will commence ADA curb ramp and roadway construction on Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in Montgomery County next week. Motorists should be aware of the following travel restriction:

  • From Monday, May 8th until Wednesday, May 31st, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, a periodic lane closure is scheduled, in both directions of Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), between North Wales Road and Dekalb Pike/Upper State Road on weekdays.

When passing through the work zone, drivers are being advised to allocate extra time for possible backups and delays due to unavoidable delays. Please note that all scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

Montgomery Township will finalize the project under the authority of a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
