Traffic Control Removal Planned Overnight Next Week on I-76 East in Lower Merion Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that traffic control removal will occur overnight next week on eastbound Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Thursday, March 16, from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, eastbound I-76 will be reduced to a single lane just west of the Gladwyne Interchange between Waverly Road and Mill Creek Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
